{"id":5817,"date":"2019-11-30T12:43:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-30T11:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qubeplus.com\/demo\/ezio\/?p=193"},"modified":"2024-06-04T11:49:22","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T09:49:22","slug":"bando-xiii-edizione","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nctmelarte.it\/en\/bando-xiii-edizione\/","title":{"rendered":"nctm e l&#8217;arte: Artists-in-residence XIII edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>nctm e l\u2019arte: Artists-in-residence <\/em><\/strong>is a scholarship, issued every six months and dedicated to visual artists residing in Italy who wish to participate in artist residency programmes based outside Italy and globally recognized by the arts world.<br \/>\nThe scholarship was established as part of <em>nctm e l\u2019arte<\/em>, the project launched by Nctm Studio Legale to support contemporary art.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific requirements for participation <\/strong><br \/>\nThe intent of the scholarship is to promote international mobility for artists who apply, following admission to international \u2018in residence\u2019 programs.\u2028 The scholarship total amount is Euro 5,000 (five thousand) to be allocated throughout multiple awards, based on criteria taking into account artistic profile, clarity and significance of the projects, training opportunities offered by the host institution and quality of the project proposed (if any).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing date <\/strong><br \/>\nDeadline for scholarship applications: <strong>30 November 2019.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Assessment results will be announced by: <strong>13 December 2019. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility criteria and application procedure<\/strong><br \/>\nCandidates must submit their application to artistsinresidence@arte.nctm.it complete with:<br \/>\n\u2022 description of the international programme which the applicant wishes to join;<br \/>\n\u2022 documentation proving acceptance by the host institution;<br \/>\n\u2022 indication of the residency period, whose start date shall not be before the announcement of the results and which is due to start within a year;<br \/>\n\u2022 total expected costs, possibly highlighting the items for which the scholarship is being sought;<br \/>\n\u2022 artistic curriculum;<br \/>\n\u2022 exhaustive portfolio;<br \/>\n\u2022 copy of a valid identity document;<br \/>\n\u2022 privacy release;<br \/>\n\u2022 indication of any additional documentation being submitted (see below).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional documentation<\/strong> (videos, catalogues, etc.) may be sent, by registered mail, return receipt requested or hand-delivered, in either paper or digital form, to:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Nctm Studio Legale &#8211; via Agnello, 12 &#8211; 20121 Milan<br \/>\nattention: Mrs. Veronica Tamborini<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Submitted materials will not be returned at the end of the selection process. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Evaluation criteria <\/strong><br \/>\nFor each application, an <em>ad hoc <\/em>panel (&#8220;Committee&#8221;) will be set up to assess all the documents and materials received and possibly invite the candidates deemed eligible for an in-depth interview.<br \/>\nThe Panel for the XII edition of <em>nctm e l\u2019arte: Artists-in-residence <\/em>is composed of Gabi Scardi, curator of the project, the members of Nctm Art Committee, one or more of the artists who were awarded the scholarship in previous editions and the curator Pietro Gaglian\u00f2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Award of the scholarship <\/strong><br \/>\nSelection methods may vary depending on the residence procedure selected by each candidate.\u2028The amount applied for may be awarded in full or in part.\u2028 The scholarship will be granted in the year of the residency period.<br \/>\nAt the end of the period, the scholarship recipients will have to provide the Panel with a short dossier concerning the period of residence and the activities carried out.
