Fabrizio Bellomo

Fabrizio Bellomo (Bari, 1982) lives and work in Bari.

Fabrizio Bellomo’s FILM, is a journey through active or abandoned factories, converted mines and mills, industrial cities and towns; a sort of compendium of Bellomo’s long research around the theme of work and industrialisation, of the transformations of Fordist society into a society of leisure. Like all his work, such work is nourished by urbanistic and sociological sensibility and by his interest in the transformations affecting the field of work, especially industrial work, in its different meanings.

Presented at the 38th Turin Film Festival, FILM includes video and audio notes that the artist, who has always been interested in the subject, has collected over the years.
