Paola Di Bello in dialogo con Patrizia Di Bello

nctm e l’arte riprende il programma di incontri dedicato ai protagonisti della scena artistica contemporanea: il primo appuntamento del 2025 sarà dedicato a Paola Di Bello e si terrà presso la sede di Londra di ADVANT Nctm. Qui si trova infatti un’opera della serie che, su iniziativa dello studio, l’artista ha dedicato al Teatro Continuo di Alberto Burri.
L’artista dialogherà con Patrizia Di Bello, docente di Storia e Teorie della Fotografia presso Birkbeck, University of London.
Durante l’incontro Paola Di Bello esplorerà alcuni dei temi centrali del proprio lavoro, a partire dalla relazione tra l’essere umano e la città; elaborerà quindi questioni quali la visione fotografica come strumento di lettura dei contesti urbani e delle loro dinamiche quotidiane, e il processo di osservazione come metodo per sottrarsi a una percezione univoca e predefinita della realtà che ci circonda. L’evento sarà l’occasione per scoprire la sua ricerca artistica e il suo approccio alla fotografia.
Il talk si svolgerà in lingua italiana con traduzione in inglese.
